Membership card
Every year a different artist will be asked to create a membership card, which all members, new and existing, will receive. This year's card has been created by Claudia de la Torre, a Berlin-based artist who creates artworks at the intersection of print media, conceptual publications and installation.
Using the basic concept of a book as her guide, de la Torre explores the structures and relationships of surface, form and ideas. In 2011, de la Torre founded backbonebooks, an experimental publishing house that has published 78 artist books and editions, and continues to produce work. De la Torre is also the director of the Artists' Books Workshop in Berlin.
